In 2025, we raised the majority of our donation income for the Weizmann Institute Emergency Recovery Fund. This followed the missile attack of 15 June 2025, which severely damaged laboratories and research buildings on campus and abruptly halted cutting-edge research. Together with friends of the Weizmann Institute around the world, we continue to raise funds for a sustainable recovery and rebuilding effort.

We want to encourage the next generation to think like scientists: to ask curious questions, investigate and discover new possibilities.
For decades, we have therefore supported the four-week International Summer Science Institute (ISSI) at the Weizmann Institute, where selected school leavers contribute to real research projects and meet young people from Israel, Germany and around the world.

The Max Planck–Weizmann Postdoctoral Programme offers outstanding early-career researchers the opportunity to live and work in Germany and Israel for four years. It generates not only excellent research results, but also international networks and formative experiences. We support this programme because it strengthens young talent and helps shape a new generation of globally minded researchers.

OGEN – the Hebrew word for “anchor” – is a programme of the Weizmann Institute that gives children affected by war trauma support, orientation and early assistance in everyday school life.

Specially trained students help strengthen their resilience and identify distress before it becomes chronic.

In this way, children who might otherwise go unnoticed are seen and supported, giving them the chance of a future with new perspectives.
